All of the therapists at The Practice are Out-of-Network providers. This means that we are not in-network with any insurance providers. What this means is the following:
If your plan has out-of-network benefits, your insurance provider typically will reimburse you directly after you have met your deductible. We encourage you to reach out to your insurance provider to find out how much they will reimburse you for therapy services at The Practice LCSW, PLLC.
You are responsible for the full cost of therapy sessions upfront.
The Practice LCSW, PLLC will provide you with a Superbill on a monthly basis that you will then submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
Please contact us directly if your insurance company needs CPT coding information for Superbills.

We communicate openly and honestly, creating a foundation of trust between clients and practitioners. Session rates are based on the expertise of the therapist. All clients can receive Good Faith Estimates upon request. Please contact us for a free consultation and quote.

While we do love coffee, we collect payment through IvyPay.
IvyPay is a HIPAA Compliant secure payment app that will store your preferred credit card, which you can update and change anytime. Your IvyPay account will need to be setup before your first scheduled session and your first session fee will be charged. Prepay is only needed for the initial session, after which your card on file will be charged within 24 hours of your completed session.
To setup your IvyPay account follow the prompts on the initial text sent. Once your setup is complete, we are ready to begin! Do not hesitate to reach out at letstalk@thepracticetherapy.com with any questions or concerns.

In the event that you need to reschedule, you can do so within 24-hours with no penalty to you!
We understand that life happens which is why we have a 24-hour cancelation policy. In the event of a late cancelation (under 24 hours), you will be charged 50% of your full session fee. If you completely forget about your scheduled session and are a no-show, you will be charged 100% of your full session fee.

In order for you and your therapist to build a meaningful working relationship, emotionally regulate/stabilize, and understand the presenting problem(s) in detail, you should plan to make space in your schedule for recurring weekly sessions. On a case by case basis, and if clinically appropriate, The Practice therapists will work with you to establish a therapy schedule that fits your needs.

A question that is important to all therapists at The Practice is “Why are you interested in starting therapy now?”. You can expect your therapist to explore this question in a variety of ways as well as gather basic clinical assessment information such as family background and composition, presenting problems, safety concerns etc. You can expect your therapist to take a dynamic and relational approach, which may at times feel like a conversation.
-
A relational approach lifts explicitly the idea of relationships, both between people and also between people and the environment (systems) that surround them. Rather than look at therapy in a “one-size fits all” model, we expertly interweave between several theoretical frameworks. This allows us to hold multiple, complex, and often conflicting viewpoints for clients in sessions while enhancing, nurturing, and promoting healthy relational bonds as well as fostering change. We view this interweaving as a clinical choice, which provides flexibility and laser precision when targeting areas that hurt the most and helping make space for healing.
